Meet Your Instructor
Luca Fanecco is a father of two boys, 10 year Navy Combat Veteran, Navy SERE graduate, Naval Special Warfare Advanced Communications Course graduate and SIGMA III Certified Survival Instructor. He served during the Global War on Terrorism and completed four deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), including a combat tour as a Special Operations Mobile Communications Team Operator with the Navy SEALs of which he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Devry University out of San Diego, CA and worked as a Telecommunications Analyst for the Marines Special Operations Command (MARSOC) West before graduating the 45 day immersive Wilderness and Urban Survival instructor course from Sigma III Survival School, Reeds Spring, MO. Luca then returned to Sigma as an Instructor/Videographer. He now owns and operates SWFF Survival School out of Greenville, SC.
